Zmudowski State Beach

Welcome to Zmudowski State Beach! Now, some of you may remember Zmudowski State Beach as a nude beach, but we are warning you: it's not anymore. Apart from being USA operated by the California Department of Parks Recreation, there have been more and more residential areas that have been sprouting up in the area – it is thus no longer advisable to walk around naked in that place anymore. If you're a thrill seeker, of course, you're perfectly welcome to shed it all provided that you understand that a ranger has the right to arrest you for public indecency.

This doesn't mean, however, that Zmudowski State Beach is no longer fun – perhaps, one can argue, it may very well be that it could be more fun now that there is less tension between the “clothing optional” visitors and more squeamish clothed visitors. Currently, Zmudowski State Beach is one of the most family-friendly beaches in Monterey County in California. There are many ways to enjoy your days in Zmudowski State Beach, many ways that don't have to involve being stark naked. Zmudowski State Beach is proof that there is life after being a nice nudist spot, and that you don't have to stay a “clothing optional” beach to be interesting.
